BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
v Rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking.
v All Services, Resort freebies etc are subject to operational availability.
v The validity of passport should be minimum 6 months from intended date of return.
v As per Maldives Immigration, Visa is on arrival and issued free of cost, please ensure the booking voucher is carried on hand.
v Make proper Forex arrangements in USD or EURO before departing to Maldives.
v Resort Airport Transfers are during Daytime and are combined / on sharing basis.
v Due to logistics in the Maldives, resort transfers are always combined with passengers of different flights, hence a definite wait time. To maintain the resort experience in the Maldives, all the resorts normally keep the waiting time from 30minutes to 1hour but can get extended as the immigration procedure and combination of two flights sometimes takes time.
v Any changes in flight arrival/departure number, please inform us or to the resort immediately to re-arrange the transfers.
v Seaplane / Domestic Flight arrival cannot be arranged if International flight lands after1420hrs, also departure of the international flight should falls in after 0900hrs till 1500hrs to arrange Seaplane / Domestic Flight transfer.
v Domestic Flight/Sea plane transfer is operated by third party and Island Sailor won’t be held responsible for any delays due to sea, weather, any kind of political or govt strikes, unforeseen events, natural & political calamities, disaster or Indeed any other causes.
v For the guests arriving by cruise to Male, they are expected to reach the Male airport for their resort transfers. All resorts transfers will be to and from airport to resort and back.
v Inter resort transfers won’t be possible, if guests are staying at two different resorts, their transfers will be from airport. All transfers will be Airport/Resort/Airport.
v Standard Check In is 14:00 Hrs. and Check Out is 12:00Hrs. (Subject to change as per Resort/Hotel policy)
v Guests are advised to verify all the inclusions at the time of check-in from Reception or the Front office, any discrepancy, must be updated on the same day of Check-in, without which won’t be considered if informed later.
v Early Check in & Late Check Out may attract some charges as per Resort/Hotel policy.
v Early check-in, Smoking Rooms, Non Smoking Rooms, Views, Floors, King, Twin, Adjoining and/or Interconnecting rooms are strictly subject to availability upon arrival and at the discretion of the Hotel/Resort. We try our best to accommodate your request but the same cannot be guaranteed prior.
v Honeymoon offer is valid for clients traveling within 03 months from the date of the wedding and also a copy of the wedding card/certificate (English version only) should be produced at the resort upon request.
v Anniversary freebies will be given, if guest carry the wedding certificate and wedding date should fall during the trip.
v Resort reserves the right to remove the freebies mentioned any time.
v Date of Birth must tally from the guest passport to avail Birthday freebies.
v Carrying Alcohol to Maldives is prohibited but served at the island resort.
v Change in the number of passengers / travel date will affect the package cost.
v Single / Double / Triple occupancy for a package/room refers to the number of guests occupying a room and not to the number of beds in the guest room. Bed request is subject to availability at time of check in.
v Services not specified in the quote will be paid directly by the guests.
v Services offered are valid only for the guests paid in full. No additional guests will be entertained.
v Buffet meals would be standard as per the hotels or resorts menu.
v Resort may ask for Cash deposit or Credit card verification upon arrival for any potential extra charges incurred during stay. It is advisable to pay in cash instead of Card verification (Amount depends from resort to resort).
v For any Split Stays, the Resort reserves the right to swap stay patterns subject to the resort operational allocation.
v In an event that hotel/resort, for reasons beyond its control, need to change a confirmed reservation it will use all reasonable attempt to facilitate or has the right to make changes.
v No refund will be offered for unutilized services.
v Any form of refund due to cancellation/ reschedulement etc, will be in the form of a credit note only.
v Credit note once issued needs to be utilized within the same financial year from April to March.
v All tourists travelling to Maldives are recommended to have proper all-inclusive medical and travel insurance though it is not mandatory by the government or immigration.
v Due to safety and privacy concerns, most of the resorts in Maldives prohibit the operation of unmanned aerial systems or drones by any of the guest including model aircraft by recreational users and hobbyists on or above the resort. Prior approval is required from the resorts to operate such devices.
v Island Sailor will not accept any responsibility for additional expenses due to the changes or delays in air, road, rail, sea, weather, any kind of political or govt strikes, lockdown or pandemic situation, Unforeseen events, natural & political calamities, disaster or Indeed any other causes once booked and during trip, all such expenses will have to be borne by passengers.
